I have definitely been getting my workout in on this trip from walking so much. Although there was beach access right across the street from our hostel, the owner said we should walk all the way down to the end of the beach where the sand was smooth without rocks.

Last night we stayed in this really nice hostel that was a house with three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, three bathrooms, and eight beds. We woke up this morning and the landlord, Marilyn, cooked us all breakfast!

I woke up at 4:00am to catch the 5:15 bus to Puntarenas with Jenna, Brittany, and Nicole. In Puntarenas got conned by this man selling flowers homemade out of a blade of grass. He said he was just giving it to us as a gift, but then said we should give him a donation. From there we took a bus to Quepos!

I knew it would be a good day today because we had French toast for breakfast. When I first arrived to the center today, my little buddy Derek greeted me with open arms and gave me a big hug. J Kevin and Jimmy also reintroduced themselves to me (I am trying so hard to remember everybody’s names).

I had a lot more energy today, which was odd because I woke up at 5:45am to go run with Jenna around the 2.5 mile path. It was surprisingly a lot of people out biking and running at 6:00am! Jenna and I also had a really good conversation during our walk to and from the center.
