Volunteer at a daycare center in Thailand and work with disadvantaged three to five-year-olds in the rural town of Trat. Youngsters attending the temple center receive Buddhist direction alongside general care, and the opportunity to gain an early education. buddhist temple
As a daycare center volunteer, you’ll assist staff with the children’s daily schedules, organizing fun, educational activities for the youngsters and encouraging them to learn through play. Volunteers also teach children the basics of English for two hours each day, helping them develop their vocabulary and build this sought-after skill from a young age.
