These kids were amazing, a burst of life.

Not speaking Spanish well, I was nervous at my ability to connect with the kids. However this proved to be only a minor obstacle and the kids still accepted me with open arms. Sometimes I asked myself whether teaching a gym class is really going to make a difference. In the end I feel it did. To brighten up these kids days and make them smile and laugh is worth the world to me. I loved my stay here in San Ramon.
