We were picked up from the airport and arrived at our home for the week with ease and enjoyment. Out house for the week was amazing and Dona Isabel was just as amazing. She cooked every meal for us and I finished every meal and got seconds. The food was amazing and though beans and rice stayed constant there were always new flavors and juices to go with it.

I liked this because I got to see how I was tangibly helping the community. Secondly, I loved playing with the kids of all ages. I was able to I was able to form bonds with these kids eventhough we only knew each other for a few days. I was given the nickname Pollo Loco a name I really enjoy and will remember forever.

Lastly the tourist part of the trip was just as eye opening and memorable. I loved the beautiful views of the mountains and the relaxable times in the amazing hot spring. All in all it was an amazing trip that I will remember forever.

At the end of my program, I left this report for uVolunteer. I hope it helps future volunteers have a good understanding of the uVolunteer program. I've also allowed uVolunteer to give out my email address to those interested in asking me questions about my trip and the uVolunteer program.
